I am a solitary systems administrator at a small company, and as such, I handle IT tasks across the board. This includes long-term strategy and large system design as well as day-to-day IT tasks such as file transfers and editing Apache configuration files. I enjoy all aspects of this, and love to learn new things.
When possible, I attend small user group meetings as well as large conferences for a variety of technologies. I try to stay connected to various communities, both technical and family-oriented, though I have taken a bit of a hiatus from social networks during this Spring season of 2010.
